I do like it.” Archie easily took note of the other’s hesitant disposition, the way each word dripping from Marks lips seemed to swirl at his tongue first, allowing himself time to calculate proper tone and phrasing. He hadn’t minded the touch either. It seemed that as of recent, Archie had grown fonder of simple affection, and as the hand found rest at his shoulder, the man’s very own curled securely at the mug’s handle. His arm lifted in the air, rising above either men’s heads, just to swiftly wallop the base of his mug down onto the nearest surface, two times in quick succession. It had been a quality-check-trick he learned while living in England– countless souvenir mugs passed over the counters of renaissance fairs and gatherings (a secret past time of his, admittedly). The damn mug passed, too.
“You’re right about that.” Archie offered up simple words with a lethargic laugh, looking to the other male. “Guess you’ve got good taste, and my compliments.”
「ӎ」┄ It takes a short moment of silence until Mark realizes that he was just complimented by the intimidating man before him. It’s enough to energize him; beaming happily that he was somehow able to impress the other. Even if what he did was by pure luck and chance, the young man feels himself surging with a source of energy that wasn’t there before. Without even realizing it, bated breath had released and he was no longer as tense as he was seconds before. “ Well, I’m glad you like the gift. I didn’t think you knew a thing or two about mugs— I honestly got it by chance. “ The bright smile on his face switches to a more calm one, his hand resting on the other’s shoulder retracting itself back to his side; idly playing with the belt hoops of his jeans. “ You’re welcome though. “

Reserved and quiet, Mark is known for his seemingly innocent baby face with a tendency to keep silent. An individual with not much to say, there are times when he doesn't speak, not because he doesn't like you but more so because he either has nothing else to really input or he's feeling awkward at the moment. Rest assured, getting to know Mark Tuan and getting past this first level of friendship guarantees you'll soon meet the other persona of Mark. Well— Not so much of a persona but just the level of comfortability that will ensure that you'll realize how much of a big weird, loud dork he truly is underneath.
